Armor Attack II continues the fast-paced battle action inspired by the classic 1980 Cinematronics arcade game. Take control of a rocket-equipped jeep and defend war-torn city streets against waves of enemy tanks and deadly attack helicopters. Play solo or team up with a second player for simultaneous two-player combat.
 
Each level drops you into one of 16 randomly selected battlefield layouts, viewed from above. Jeeps and tanks must stay on the roads, using buildings for cover while maneuvering for the perfect shot. Helicopters, however, are not bound by the streets and can fly freely over buildings and roads, making them a constant threat from above. Shots cannot pass through buildings, so smart positioning, timing, and quick reactions are the keys to survival.
 
Enemy tanks can be destroyed in stages. Hit a tank once, then quickly finish off its turret before time runs out. Wait too long and the turret will explode on its own, costing you valuable points. Be careful around the wreckage too — debris left behind by destroyed tanks can sometimes be dangerous, so keep your distance and fire wisely.
 
The goal is simple: survive as long as possible and rack up the highest score you can. Avoid being shot or run over by tanks, and watch the skies for helicopter fire. Destroying helicopters increases your bonus level by 10 points at a time. Take down the fifth helicopter and you will earn an extra jeep before the bonus resets.
 
In two-player mode, both players fight together on the same battlefield. You cannot shoot each other, but teamwork is still essential. When one player is destroyed, the action continues until both players are eliminated before the level resets or surviving lives return to play.
 
Skill Levels
 
Easy

A good starting point for new players. Fewer tanks appear, enemies move slower, tanks fire less often, turrets track you more slowly, and helicopters attack less frequently.
 
Normal

Designed for players familiar with the game. This mode offers a balanced challenge with steady enemy pressure and classic arcade-style action.
 
Hard

For experienced commanders only. More tanks are required to clear each level, enemies move faster, shoot more often, and turrets track you immediately. Helicopters become much more aggressive, and after surviving several tougher levels, a second helicopter joins the fight to make the battlefield even more dangerous.
