1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website and/or engaging Vintage Arcading for product purchases or repair services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you may not use this Site or our services.

 

 

2. Products and Sales

Vintage Arcading sells retro and vintage gaming products, including but not limited to:

  • Video game consoles

  • Game cartridges and discs

  • Controllers and accessories

  • Replacement parts

  • Collectibles

 

2.1 Condition of Items

Most products sold are pre-owned, refurbished, or vintage unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Due to the nature of retro electronics:

  • Cosmetic wear, minor imperfections, and aging may be present

  • Original packaging or manuals may not be included

  • Battery-backed save functions (e.g., cartridge save batteries) may not retain saves unless replaced

We strive for accurate descriptions and photos but do not guarantee that all product listings are free from error.

 

 

3. Repair Services

Vintage Arcading offers repair services for gaming consoles, accessories, and related electronics.

 

3.1 Service Authorization

By submitting a device for repair (in-store or mail-in), you:

  • Confirm you are the legal owner of the device

  • Authorize Vintage Arcading to perform diagnostic and repair services

  • Acknowledge that repair attempts will involve disassembly and replacement of components

 

3.2 Repair Risks

You understand and agree:

  • Repair of vintage electronics carries inherent risk

  • Some devices may be irreparable due to prior damage, corrosion, or unavailable parts

  • Attempted repair may result in device failure if internal components are already compromised

Vintage Arcading is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Data loss (including saved games, stored files, or modifications)

  • Additional issues discovered during repair

If applicable, customers are responsible for backing up any data prior to service.

 

 

3.3 Estimates and Payment

  • Repair quotes are estimates based on initial diagnostics

  • Final cost may vary if additional issues are discovered

  • Customer approval will be obtained before additional charges are incurred

Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed.

 

 

3.4 Unclaimed Devices

Devices not picked up within 90 days of repair completion notification may be considered abandoned. Vintage Arcading reserves the right to:

  • Charge storage fees

  • Resell or recycle the device to recover costs

 

 

3.5 Warranty on Repairs

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Repairs carry a limited warranty of 30 days covering only the specific repair performed

  • Warranty does not cover physical damage, misuse, liquid damage, power surges, or tampering after repair

Warranty is non-transferable.

 

 

4. Orders and Payment (Product Sales)

By placing an order, you agree:

  • All information provided is accurate

  • You are authorized to use the selected payment method

We reserve the right to cancel orders due to pricing errors, suspected fraud, or product unavailability.

 

 

5. Returns and Refunds

 

5.1 Product Returns

  • Return requests must be made within 3 days of delivery

  • Items must be returned in original condition

  • Sealed items opened after delivery may not be eligible for return

  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping unless the item was defective or incorrectly described

 

5.2 Repair Refunds

Diagnostic fees may be non-refundable.

Labor charges are non-refundable once repair work has been performed.

 

 

6. Shipping and Risk of Loss

Shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed.

Vintage Arcading is not responsible for:

  • Carrier delays

  • Lost or stolen packages marked delivered

  • Damage caused during shipping for customer-arranged shipments

For mail-in repairs, customers are responsible for properly packaging devices.

Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the item is delivered to the carrier.

 

 

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vintage Arcading shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Loss of data, saved files, or digital content

  • Loss of profits or business interruption

Total liability shall not exceed:

  • The amount paid for the product purchased, or

  • The amount paid for the repair service

 

 

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including:

  • Logos

  • Text

  • Graphics

  • Images

  • Product descriptions

is the property of Vintage Arcading and may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.

All third-party trademarks (console brands, game publishers, etc.) remain the property of their respective owners.

 

 

9. Disclaimer

All products and services are provided “as is” unless otherwise stated.

We make no guarantees regarding:

  • Compatibility with modern hardware

  • Longevity of vintage electronics

  • Performance beyond original manufacturer specifications

 

 

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles.

 

 

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site or services constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
