One Year Only Joystick with the coveted hex disc…
 
For your consideration is an excellently functioning and first year production Atari CX10 Joystick. Produced late 1977 to mid 1978, these joysticks were quickly replaced by the CX40's. The internals of the CX10 are completely different, as well as the handle boot and small details in the case. 
 
This joystick is all original and pretty near flawless. The boot is fantastic with no marks, original early cord with the 'rubbery' plug end, and original feet on the bottom. Also has original paint. It is in such good condition, that I never opened it up. Tests ok, it does sometimes want to stick in the right direction, for those that have tweaked CX10's, the internal spring will need adjusted. Authentic aluminum Sears hex disc on the top of the handle.... ;-) (In my opinion and experience, the Sears hex discs are harder to find than the Atari.)
 
They quit making these 45 years ago and won't get any easier to find, especially in this nearly mint condition. You haven't played Atari until you've played with the CX10 creaky springs and clicky contacts! Would make an awesome gift for the diehard gamer or collector!
