Lightly used game.  Tested on an Atari CX2600, 2600+ and 7800+.

Gamma Attack for the Atari 2600 is one of the most legendary and mysterious titles in retro gaming history. Released in 1983 by Gammation, it is widely known for having only one confirmed original copy in existence. In 2008, that lone copy was listed on eBay for an astonishing $500,000, though it did not sell. The game has since earned a place in the Guinness World Records as the rarest video game in the world.

In Gamma Attack, players control a flying saucer as it battles enemy tanks across the surface of a distant planet. Interestingly, the saucer can even be controlled during the game’s demo mode. At the end of the game, players are greeted by GAMMY, the alien mascot of Gammation and the company’s logo character.

Although the gameplay is simple by Atari 2600 standards, Gamma Attack’s incredible rarity and fascinating backstory have made it one of the most sought-after and talked-about games among collectors. Reproduction cartridges and PC-playable versions exist today, but only one original cartridge is known to survive.
