HERO 2 brings Roderick Hero back into action for a dangerous new rescue mission!

Once the president and CEO of the Emergency Rescue Operation Company, Roderick Hero has left retirement behind after discovering a desperate situation in Brazil. While visiting the country and watching the local news, he learns that a group of children has become lost deep within a network of caves connected to the ruins of the old Paraopeba Mine in Nova Lima.

The danger is far greater than anyone expected. The mine is filled with unstable passages, strange creatures, and unusual volcanic activity, putting the children in grave danger.

Equipped with gear from his past missions, Roderick must descend into the depths, blast open blocked paths, avoid deadly hazards, defeat lurking enemies, and search every dangerous cavern before time runs out.

It is time for HERO to get back to work. Explore the depths, survive the mine, and rescue the children in this thrilling Atari 2600 adventure.
