Chicken – Atari 5200

Catch the eggs. Watch the chicks. Keep your cool!

Barnyard chaos comes to your Atari 5200 in Chicken, a colorful arcade challenge that puts your timing and reflexes to the test. Guide your hen and her egg cart beneath the falling eggs, catching as many as possible before they hit the ground.

Miss an egg and it hatches into a wandering chick! Now you must keep catching eggs while jumping over the little troublemakers underfoot. An easy-to-learn game quickly becomes a juggling act as you chase a higher score.

Originally developed by Synapse Software for Atari 8-bit computers, Chicken brings its quirky action to the 5200 through a homebrew conversion—a fun addition for collectors looking beyond the system’s original retail lineup.
